Pair of Labelled Bitters: 1. Plain Amber Bottle, Crude A base mark. Russian Lithuanian Bitter, Litovsky Liquor Co. Australia. (Label at back has "Owing to existing conditions Opal bottles are not obtainable at present"). 2. Dr Soule 1872 Hop Bitters. (Most of label to one side, only a couple of fragments to other side. R base mark. (Australia) Spirits Bitters Amber. Tool finished & Applied tops. 24 oz. 236 mm. 1880s-1910s
Both the bottles are Excellent with dirt and grime. Labels are stained and marked. Mostly intact labels to the Litovsky but just the one side which is quite tatty and hard to read on the Soule. The Soule bottle is a lovely bubbly and crude example. Nice interesting pair of bottles. Grade: N/A Estimate: $70 - 100
