Trio of Teacup, Saucer & plate. All have:(Australian Coat of Arms) / Advance Australia / Commonwealth of Australia // (Crossed British & Australian Flags with wreath & star) / (H. M. A. S. Sydney) / H.M.A.S. "Sydney" destroyed the "Emden" / at Keeling Cocos Island Nov. 9. 1914. Saucer & Plate also have: One Fleet. One Throne // For Freedom and Honour. No base mark on the cup, Saucer and Plate with Radford's / (Crown) / Crown China / England Pottery Commemorative Porcelain. Coloured decoration. Cup: 70 mm. Saucer 144 mm diameter. Plate 155 mm diameter.. 1915

Excellent. A blob of extra glaze on the rim of the cup. Some dirt or stain marks on the plate. Minor marks generally amongst them. Lovely group. Part of the same (mostly complete) set from last auction consigned to us with instructions to split it up to give a wider number of people a chance to own pieces of this historically interesting commemorative china.
