Pair of unusual Brunswick pottery items: 1. Quarter Gallon Demijohn, Cornwell's / Pottery / Brunswick. 2. Ink. Hoffman / Pottery Works / Brunswick. (Victoria) Pottery Brunswick Stoneware. Handled Demijohn and ink. Bristol Glaze and dark Honey/tan. 196 & 153 mm. 1890s-1900s
The Demijohn is Excellent. Some fleabites on and inside the lip. Some fine marks. Crude kiln and potters marks are the main things though. The Ink is Excellent. One end of the potters stamp has missed where there is also a glaze miss. Some minor marks around but again mainly crude manufacturing marks to be noted. Nice pair of unusual stamped items from these potteries. Grade: N/A Estimate: $60 - 80
