Pair of Lamonts both embossed: S. Mansfield / Trade (Emu) Mark / Registered / Maryborough. No base mark. (Queensland) Aerated Water Lamont Applied top. Aqua. 10 & 6 oz. 218 & 189 mm. 1890s
1. Very Good. Polished. 10 x 2 mm fracture or bruise to front upper right lip. Similar 7 x 2 mm mark to right of this. Inner lip has been evenly ground throughout down to the bottom of the inner lip. A few pitted scratches. Some light inner base haze. Remains of some fisheyes and impact marks and a few other scratches. Reasonably strong embossing, some nicks and nibbles to be found. Thin burst bubble to the mid rear. Not a bad example, this is a nice colour with plenty of bubbles. 2. Good. Polished. 9 x 4 mm discoloured bruise to inner front right lip. Oiled. Flake or two and nibbles around base heel. Some scuffs, scratches and fisheyes. Grade: N/A Estimate: $70 - 100
