1. Excellent. Some discoloured dirt and grime which will soak out. Once it has been cleaned, this will be in superb condition. Upper right lip has a couple of surface annealing type marks. Pretty hard to even find a scratch! (8.5). 2. Good. John A. Hicks was originally at the Kyneton Hospital, he opened a shop in Kyneton in 1862 as a chemist and druggist. By the late 1860s he was operating out of Brighton until at least the late 1890s. This is a rare bottle. Looks to have been acid dipped. It has some etching, scratches and pit marks, but these are all shiny, which is what occurs when bottles are acid dipped. Little base nick and impact. (6.0). Grade: N/A Estimate: $40 - 60
