Pair of Convict Bricks both with J B initials. (Dubbo, New South Wales) Pottery Brick Convict Brick: J B. 230 mm. 1880s
1. Good. Large chunk out of bottom and edge of brick. Chips and flakes elsewhere. Still has some mortar attached. 2. Good. Front corner has a chunk from it, as does the corresponding rear corner. A few smallish chips and flakes to the edges and a small split or two. The JB brick stands for John Bates, who was a brick maker from Dubbo. Grade: N/A Estimate: $30 - 50
