This bottle always remains the property of / I. Keam Griffith. Base Mark: I. Keam / I / N.S.W. / Griffith. (New South Wales) Household Sauce Machine made, screw top. Clear. 1 Quart. 287 mm. 1940s
Excellent. A couple of patches of grime and surface haze, looks like these will clean off OK. Thin bubble to rear has a tiny open part that has let some dirt in. Just one or two tiny fisheyes. Tiny impact flake to rear base edge. Some fine scratches. A very large bottle, probably a bulk sauce bottle? Interestingly, a 1946 newspaper article mentions how it is an offence to use branded bottles and so to return bottles marked I. Keam, Griffith and those marked I. Keam Tallygaroopna as well! Grade: 8.2 Estimate: $20 - 30
