Pair of Goldfields era bottles: 1. Large Gothic Arch Goldfields Pickle or Chutney. Smooth oval indent to base. 2. Barrel shaped Mustard Jar. Smooth base. Goldfields Various 1. Rectangle with rounded edges. Arched panels to both sides. Applied top. Aqua. About 15 oz. 2. Barrel shape with embossed hoops at shoulder and base. Applied top. Aqua. About 6 oz. 228 & 118 mm. 1850s-1860s
1. Good. A bit stained. 15 x 5 mm bruise near the base at the bottom of the arch on one side. Some general scratches and scuffs. Unusual one in this larger size. (6.7). 2. Good. Dull and stained. In the neck is a 6 mm split looks like a fracture on the outside but given the way it is open on the inside looks like it was from manufacture. The top generally is very crudely applied.
