Excellent. Little potters blowout to upper lip from making. Tiny flake to inner lip edge. Short scratch through glaze below handle to rear. One little glaze flake to right shoulder edge, glaze miss around from this. Some little nibbles and flakes around the base edge. Crazing throughout. A couple of slightly discoloured spots. This would have been made at one of the South Australian potteries. Extremely rare demijohn, looks good with the big print. We have been reliably informed that one example exists in a prominent South Australian collection, to date this is only the second example known to collectors. Grade: 8.2 Estimate: $1000 - 1500
