Pratt Jar, Mending The Nets. Pot Lid Prattware Multicoloured Pratt Jar. 82 mm. 1850s
Good. Spots of discoloured wear around the lip, a few spots just go through the glaze. There is a little fine hairline as well to the outer rim. A bit of grime. Some minor scuffs and scratches. Some chips and flakes around the base edge have been restored. This has been done amazingly well, I did not spot this originally but eventually noted that something was not quite as it should be,that being the speckled appearance in places under the base. Due to the superb job, I cannot tell how much is repaired, but suggest that it was typical base edge chips and flakes. Grade: 6 Estimate: $50 - 75
