Pair of Hip flasks: 1. Metal cover and cap marked for James Dixon & Sons, Sheffield. 2. Leather on bottom. Metal cover marked Schweppes in neat font. Miscellaneous Advertising Oval clear glass flasks. Both would have had leather covers to the base, one still does. Pewter covers and caps. About 4 and 2 oz. 127 & 104 mm. 1900s-1920s
Larger one is Excellent. Haven't been able to get the screw threaded lid undone. Cover comes off easily but has left a few scuffs and scratches on the glass from use. Nice item. The Schweppes advertising one is Excellent. Great piece for a Schweppes collection. Unusual little piece with minor marks and wear and tear. Presumably this wasn't for Soda Water but rather something you might add to it. Grade: N/A Estimate: $50 - 70
