Large cobalt Whirley Salad Oil. No base mark. Goldfields Salad Oil Applied top, flared lip, two rings around neck, swirled pattern down to hobnail diamonds on the lower shoulder region. 6 panels going down the body to a base ring. Cobalt. 26 oz. 355 mm. 1860s
Excellent. Tiny lip edge nick. Some haze internally. A little usage wear under the base. Small surface bubble or two. Some fine scratches, a scuff mark or two. This has possibly had a light polish, if it has, it is a great job! A great bottle in this large size. Grade: 8.3 Estimate: $1000 - 1250
