Kirby Bros / (Fancy K) / Alexandria / (Arrow pointing down). (Sydney, New South Wales?) Ginger Beer Cork Stoppered Dump. Yellow & Greenish glaze. 10 oz. 165 mm. 1880s-1890s?
Very Good. Crude bottle could be earlier. Has a tight 80 mm discoloured hairline across the upper mid front. Some wear to the side lip. A bit of crazing. Has nearly been stamped twice with the outline of the diamond re-appearing to the right of the main stamp. Glaze flaking of 10 x 3 mm at the front base edge. Really unusual bottle. Found in NSW this is presumed to be from Alexandria in Sydney but as yet there is no information on this company. Grade: 7.7 Estimate: $200 - 250
