Ribbed Cobalt Barrel. No Base Mark. Spirits Bitters Applied top. 8 ribs around upper body, another 8 ribs around lower body. Cobalt. 26 oz. 213 mm without stopper. 1880s
Excellent. Stopper is stuck in place, looks like there is just one small upper lip flake here though. Some inner haze, possibly contents residue staining. Heavy wear to the base heel. Some fine scratches. A few little dull patches. A little wear to the lower ribs at the surface only. A lovely looking item. Listed as a bitters, in effect this could have contained any number of products. Grade: 8.2 Estimate: $100 - 150
