1. Very Good. Small flake to bottom of lip collar at front. 33 x 11 mm flake chip under base to the left. Another small one around from this. Scraped area to left of stamp is glazed over, the potter obviously wanted to remove something, maybe an EX mark? A bit if stain and discolouration. A fabulous early piece of pottery, very similar to the J. Bourne example. (7.2). 2. Very Good. Tiny lip spot of wear. 11 x 8 mm chip under front left base edge. 11 x 5 mm chip under front right base edge. Pretty much just making marks otherwise. A great, early piece of pottery with the EX 1 mark. (7.5). Grade: N/A Estimate: $40 - 60
