Good. A lovely little demijohn, looks like a zero has been used instead of an O in Rochester. Some sticker residue around the lip. Handle is rusty. Some nibbles and wear around the shoulder edge, although there is a band of unglazed pottery below the shoulder that looks like wear when it is not. Wear to base edge through the glaze in places. Three large but shallow chips to lower body scattered around the base edge. Impact horseshoe hairline under the base heel. Flake under base edge. Some other little flakes and marks around the base edge. Discoloured throughout. Some body glaze wear, scratches and marks. Nice impression on this example from the Dennis O'Hoy collection.
