Plain Ring Seal with original label: Brewed & Bottled by Carlton & United Breweries Propy Ltd / Victoria Brewery / (Bird with Flag escaping cage inside a fancy V) / Lager Bier / East Melbourne. Australia / To be kept in a cool place. Perforated across words lager bier: 24.MR.14 (24th March 1914). (Victoria) Beer Ring Seal Bottle is a very crude offset seam through lip variety. Punt to base. 26 oz. Label: Multicoloured. 295 mm. 1914
Label is Very Good. Loose to the right side and tear to the middle right. A bit of wear and quite grimy (has come out from under a house by the looks of it). Needs a good careful clean but colours still look pretty good. Nice label still basically the same as the pre 1907 Victoria Brewery labels but with the Carlton & United Breweries added. Bottle is an interesting early machine type finish but still just a plain ring seal overall. No real faults to it. Grade: N/A Estimate: $70 - 100
