Union Hotel / N. Devery / Gosford. (New South Wales) Miscellaneous Advertising Dessert Wine Glass. Acid Etched. 137 mm. 1940s
Very Good. The base has two chips around the rim: 5 x 5 and 5 x 2 mm. A bit dusty and grimy. Nice design to the etching. Glass has a slightly yellow appearance like there is some selenium in the mix. It was big news in the Gosford Times in February 1939 when Nick Devery arrived to take over the Union Hotel! Grade: 7 Estimate: $20 - 30
