Pair of Pharmacy Jars: 1. Zinc. / Oxid. 2. Pulv. / Aloes C. Canel. (Pharmacy label to back of 2nd looks like Judges, M.P.S. Pharmacist. Both with Polished pontils or small pontil scar to base. Medicine Pharmacy Clear glass wide mouth jars. Tool finished tops. Ground inner lips and stoppers. Black on Pink print with Gold borders. About 26 oz. 224 mm with stoppers. 1890s-1900s
The Zinc. is Good. Two deep chips around the lip: 17 x 5 and 15 x 5 mm. Most of the Gold border around the print has faded. General light scuffs and scratches. The Aloes is Very Good. Does have a deep 20 x 5 mm chip to the side lip. Bit more of the Gold border still there on this one. Similar scuffs and scratches. Nice pair of jars. Unusual Pink painted labels.
