Excellent. The main issue here, it does not have a key. Felt under the base. Brass trim, even the screws are brass. Some scratches to the wood. Base has a couple of splits, this is wide on one side, possibly has been made in two pieces and joined with the join separating a little? A superb apothecary chest, quite possibly earlier than we suggested. This is from the James A. Lerk collection. Grade: 8 Estimate: $200 - 250
