Original six aluminium tags to lid impressed with numbers 1/2, 1, 1 1/2, 2, 2 1/2 and 3 for ordering quantities of milk. (Victoria) Household Dairy Large round glass jar. Crude machine finished top. Clear (pale straw). Original wire holder. Original Aluminium lid and tags. 3 Pint. 227 mm when all together. 1930s
Excellent. Some annealing marks around the lip and top. Fine scratches and scuffs to the jar. A bit of corrosion to the lid. Wire holder has some corrosion. Basically though a beauty in original order. Grade: 8.5 Estimate: $300 - 400
