M'Arthur (New South Wales) Ginger Beer Impressed Dump. Red/Brown. About 7 oz. 154 mm. 1830s-1840s
Very Good. Has a super fine 88 mm hairline diagonally across the front. Chipping all around the base. A small chip and some glaze flaking in and around the lip. General makers marks and light wear. Lovely strong stamp. Very small size, great colour and form. An early piece of Australian pottery history, falls generally into the category of "Convict" ginger beers.
