Green glass light green sack type bottle (flat) with trailed glass spiral around the neck. Pontil. (James A. Lerk Collection) Early Glass Black Glass Green glass light green sack type bottle (flat) with trailed glass spiral around the neck. 253 mm. 1700s
Very Good. Possibly a Persian saddle flask or rose water bottle. Scuffed scratches in patches to the body which are deeper than standard. The glass neck spiral is applied, there is a small missing section to the upper part, the mid part is missing a larger section, and the lower part is missing a somewhat larger section of several loops around the neck. Some inner stain to be found. Pontil has an associated chip under the base. A nice piece of glass, this looks to be quite an early piece, it is finer than the heavy chunky pieces we have handled in the past. This is from the James A. Lerk collection. Grade: 7.2 Estimate: $100 - 150
