Excellent. Lower part has some scratches and marks but this would have been under wicker when in use. The lip and top are brilliant with great print. Lorenzo Filippi advertised extensively as a Wine & Spirit Merchant during 1929 and 1930 in the Illawarra Mercury. Later advertisements specifically mention that "Jars loaned to customers for one week" and that 2 Gallon or a dozen bottles were minimum orders for delivery. Great example of a scarce New South Wales demijohn. Grade: 8.7 Estimate: $200 - 300
