Fair. Pitted marks to upper lip, there is a small lump of pottery from making. Upper handle has several lumps from making. Chip to right base edge, a smaller under base flake around from this which still has a bit of size to it. This is in the region of heavy, dark stain, with glaze flaking off right around this lower body and base region to the right and rear. Reasonably heavy stain to the rest of the demijohn as well. Some scratches. Unusual demijohn from an aerated water maker (O'Donnell & Co also had a Lamont and were taken over by C. R. Goulding). Grade: 5.5 Estimate: $50 - 75
