Excellent. Structurally near perfect, one tiny glaze flake to handle, not even through the glaze. The impression is super strong and lovely in that it travels across the tan into the white area. A little scrape or two to base edge, likely making marks. Some crude making marks to right body, also small spot of rust stain here. The only thing to really mention, there is a little dullness with some glaze wear and surface scuffs to be found. A few scratches, but nothing deep. Quite an amazing little demijohn! We have only ever offered one of these for sale before, a few years ago - and this is that exact one! Auction 19, Lot 368. Grade: 8.5 Estimate: $500 - 750
