Excellent. From the James A. Lerk collection, he sourced this himself from the Murray Breweries in Beechworth several decades ago! One of two sourced, the other is on offer this auction as well. This is even larger than the other one. There is a surface bubble or two to the side. Plenty of grime scattered around, with a good clean this will be a nice, shiny piece. Has some scratches, but nothing major as it has never been buried. A bit of usage wear under the base. There is some inner base grime that may clean out, although good luck finding a bottle brush to suit this MONSTER! Very interesting piece of glassware used in a Victorian aerated water factory, maybe had cordial syrup in it? Being so huge, it exceeds Australia Post's capabilities and so you will need to arrange pick up of this beast! Grade: 8.2 Estimate: $50 - 75
