Excellent. 7 x 2 mm glaze flake just through the glaze to the upper rim. Just around from this are two smaller glaze flakes on the outer rim. The opposite side also has a small glaze flake to the upper rim, all of which are only just through the glaze. A little fine wear in place to the rim. Small spot of wear to handle is amongst a glaze miss, so may actually be part of the glaze miss. 2 x 2 mm pottery blowout to lower part of jug below the pouring spout, there is a small similar but shallower mark near this. There is a split where the handle meets the body, this is a making mark. Some fine scratches and minor marks. An absolute beauty, this is a sought after jug! Grade: 8.1 Estimate: $300 - 400
