Pair of English stoneware jugs: 1. Round waisted shape. 2. Flat sided. Both with handles. No markings. Pottery Stoneware Salt Glaze. Dark & Lighter tans. Handles. Small sizes. 164 & 154 mm. 1830s-1850s
Both Excellent. The larger one is a bit grimier and some stain. The smaller one has a really beautiful glaze. Both lovely pieces of early 19th century English stoneware.
