Excellent. Thomas De La Rue was the manufacturer of the famous British ONOTO fountain pens. This piece dates between 1947-1958, the period when the company was known as Thomas De La Rue & Company, Limited. An Australian made bottle, this must have been made for an Australian outlet? Fascinating carry case made of a green plastic substance, I have just noticed this also has the AGM logo on the inner base, so was made by the Australian Glass Manufactory as well! Bottle has residue throughout and some grime. Cap may not be original as it is Swan Ink but fits nicely. Cardboard with stain around bottle I think is original? Case is in great nick. Very interesting travellers type ink. Grade: 8.2 Estimate: $20 - 30
