Very Good. The Huia was a large New Zealand wattle bird that is now extinct. Some nibbles to the inner thread. Some grimy spots to outer lip. A bit of wear around the shoulder edge, there is a spot or two to rear that is through the glaze. Shiny glaze has pinpricks through it from making. Making mark below the beak of the Huia. Some scratches to be found. Crude swirls to the pottery from making. A lovely piece, I believe these are reasonably sought after in New Zealand as well. Grade: 7.5 Estimate: $300 - 400
