Excellent. Making split to thread on inner lip. Below the blob lip on the upper shoulder is a couple of spots of glaze wear from where the wire handle has been rubbing. Tiny glaze flake to front right shoulder edge. Some grime. A bit of discolouration in places. A few glaze misses and making marks to be found. Some scratches. The odd glaze nick to be found. Original brass tap in place. The side of the spigot hole has a really fine 18 mm hairline. Couple of spots of wear to glaze on the outer part of this as well. A very rare demijohn, not many impressed, wire handled, spiggoted, internal thread two gallon demijohns out there, and in great original condition too! Grade: 8.5 Estimate: $300 - 400
