Pair of Seal Bottles: 1. 1/2 Litre. Deep punt to base. 2. J. M. Oliver & Sons // (etched to back) This bottle registered / April 12 1897 / and must not be sold. Dot to centre of base. Black Glass Sealed Champagne shapes. Applied tops. Olive & Dark Green. Half Litre and about 4 oz. 257 & 176 mm. 1870s-1900s
The Half litre is Excellent. Nice early European bottle. Thick applied top. Candle wax inside! Lip is very crude and quite shear. Just light scratches and scuffs. The Oliver is Excellent. This is an Olive Oil bottle. A little hazy and some scratches around. Nice with the etched disclaimer down the back.
