Good. Polished. 18 x 8 mm angled bruise coming down from an upper lip impact mark. The opposite lip has a 14 x 11 mm chip like mark to the lower lip which has smooth edges from the polish job. One edge is along a curved natural glass fold, so this may be a making mark, but still looks like a chip. Some scratching to inner neck, there is some remains of etching in this area as well. Patch of deep scratching internally near Melbourne. Scattered impact horseshoe type flakes. Some fisheyes and pitted marks to be found. Some pitted marks to some of the embossing. A very early Melbourne bottle. Grade: 6 Estimate: $40 - 60
