E. F. Sykes / I. X. L / Lemonade / Trade / Mark / Childers. No base mark. (Queensland) Aerated Water Codd Applied top, tooled finish. Four way pour Dobson style patent with four dimples. Aqua. 13 oz. 228 mm. 1910s
Very Good. Small sliver flake to inner left lip. Dirty stain throughout internally, much of this will clean out but there may still be some haze afterwards? Surface bubble to mid rear is extremely shallow. Some scuffs and scratches scattered around, heaviest around shoulder and base, but found elsewhere as well such as a scratch to side lip. A few fine fisheyes. Nice embossing, a little high point wear to the upper embossing, minor marks to the rest. Crudely made bottle, when you look at this from the side the glass to the rear at the base is a lot thicker. The base is also angled this same way resulting in this bottle having a backwards lean and a lean to the right as well. This is all the way it was made. A rare bottle from Queensland. Grade: 7.5 Estimate: $500 - 600
