Interesting piece of pottery shaped like some sort of seed or similar? Heavy terracotta with dark glaze and decoration to outside. Pottery Terracotta Large round jar. Flared top. Dark glaze with diagonal lines. Six deep grooves down side. 207 mm. ?
Very Good. Really interesting piece of pottery. No idea on age but does look like it is reasonably old. One side of the lip has several small chips. The body is deliberately rough so difficult to pick out any faults. There are a couple of other little flakes and the like around though. No obvious makers marks. Grade: 7.9 Estimate: $$40.00 - $50.00
