Pair of Inks: 1. Simpson's Ink // Sydney. 4 oz. No base mark. (New South Wales) 2. Shaws / Inks / Are / The / Best. Base Mark: (Dot). Ink Glass 1. Applied top, spun finish. Aqua. 4 oz. 2. Sheer lip. Octagonal. Aqua. 2 oz. 134 & 81 mm. 1890s-1900s
1. Very Good. Some nibbles and tiny flakes to outer lip edge. Stained. Some scuffs and scratches and the odd impact mark to be found. One or two tiny open bubbles. (7.4) 2. Very Good. Chip to left rear lip. Looks like some grinding has been done around this to lessen the impact of the edges. Oiled internally. Open bubble to corner. Quite a large size for an octagonal ink.
