1. Fair. Deep chip to inner rear rim with a couple of other chips and flakes around it. Crack from this goes down towards the base over about 100 mm. Half way down from this crack is a horizontal one that goes around to the front over about 180 mm. At bottom of first crack is another horizontal one over about 170 mm. Another hairline to front down left side of impression, with a semicircular one lower down coming back up to another that crosses it. Pretty good apart from this. Flake under front base edge. A few nicks and marks. Has the original lid which has a few flakes. Doulton and Watts finished in 1854, so this is prior to then. (5.7). 2. Excellent. Tiny flake to edge of one of the corners of the top. Glaze miss to upper lip. Shallow small flake to base edge with a smaller nick next to it. Some crude making marks. A few scratches. Nice shiny glaze. (8.4). Grade: N/A Estimate: $$30.00 - $40.00
