Pair of Jars: 1. McKenzies / (Three Bears with Porridge in bowls) / Rolled Oats // Jas. F. McKenzie & Co Pty Ltd Brisbane. Base: 8. 2. the same but has added to the back embossing. Unusual base mark: AGM / B in a triangle. Look like original lids. (Queensland) Household Jar Oval section. Screw thread Seam through lip. Clear. Pint. 143 & 145 mm. 1920s-1930s
First one is Excellent. Does have a couple of shallow chips on the screw thread. A little bit of hazy stain and some scuffs and scratches. The AGM base one is Very Good. Displays better but has a 20 x 8 mm bruised area under the side base. Just the usual light scuffs and scratches otherwise. Nice pair of jars and interesting variations.
