Near Mint. Unglazed to upper and inner lip, this is not wear at all, simply the way it was made. There may be one small flake amongst this. Tiny glaze flake to outer front lip. Rusty handle. Couple of fine pottery pulls under base. A few scratches and minor marks. Some spots of red paint to be seen which come off. Pretty much spotless, just some minor making marks really. Lovely grooves around lower neck and upper body, the tan comes down the body a bit too. I cannot recall seeing a Bakewell made demijohn before? Also, is this a different type of stamp saying Sydney & New Zealand? Grade: 9.3 Estimate: $$250.00 - $350.00
