Excellent. A difficult one to grade as there is pretty much nothing wrong with this at all. Just a little fine lip wear, some minor marks here and there. It does, however, have a discolouration consisting of fine black spots throughout. These are from making. Also, some of the thick black areas seem to have had difficulty in being glazed as there are several glaze misses in these black areas. Again, a making issue. A great looking jug which is rare and in lovely condition. Grade: 8.7 Estimate: $$500.00 - $750.00
