Very Good. Couple of tiny flakes to sharp inner lip, vastly better than usual. Handle and remainder of lip are great. Impression is great, can't recall seeing another demijohn with the date on it. 12 x 10 mm chip to left rear base edge. Fine hairline starts at lower handle at rear and goes down to the lower body where it joins a fine hairline that goes around horizontally over about half the circumference. On the right lower body is a diagonal hairline that goes around the lower front to the left side. Another hairline goes down from one of these towards the base. These are very fine, pretty much crazed type lines, they do not really catch the fingernail. An extremely rare country Victorian demijohn. Grade: 7 Estimate: $$300.00 - $400.00
