Good. 6 x 5 mm chip to face at left edge. Little flake to face edge below P of pence. 7 x 2 mm chip to underside of rim above V of Cleavers which can just be seen from the front. A few shallow chips and flakes have been touched up to the lower flange. Very fine horseshoe hairline to flange. A very early lid with fancy writing, this one does not come with a base. Grade: 6.4 Estimate: $30 - 40
