Good. Polished. Looks to have been polished in the early days of polishing. Still dull in the groove and teardrops. Quite smooth in general but seamlines and the like are still there. Middle parts of both lines of embossing look to have been polished down and smoothed over a little however these letters look to have been weaker than the end letters to begin with. Inside the right top of the lip there are folds in the glass, one possibly has a 5 mm fracture associated with it depending on the angle you look at it from. Remains of some pitting and small marks in spots around the surface. Base is dull. Side base has a smooth 6 x 7 mm chip or burst bubble that has another bubble beneath it. A stunning Australian cobalt blue Codd. A rare chance to get such a beauty. Grade: 6.9 Estimate: $22000 - 25000
