Excellent. Sedna was a medicinal wine bottled in Australia by B. Seppelt and Sons Ltd in South Australia from an imported product which was manufactured in Ireland. Several court cases against large chemists in Adelaide such as Strempel and Birks revolved around the sale of this product in the 1920s as it was deemed to be an alcoholic beverage! This jug looks near perfect. There are a couple of little flakes under the base which would be from making. The handle does have an issue, there is a thin chip to the lower outer half with a crack through the handle at this location. Some of the gold leaf is very slightly worn. A wonderful advertising jug from Seppelts. Grade: 8 Estimate: $100 - 150
