G. Marle / Warialda. Base: S. (New South Wales) Aerated Water Codd Dobson or Four way type. Spun finished top. Aqua. 10 oz. 226 mm. 1910s
Very Good. Polished. Fairly smooth surfaces although there is still some whittle evident so pretty good. That faint hint of haze inside. Some little fisheyes and marks around the base edge. The only real issue is the impact mark on and between the AL of Warialda. It is a bit of a gouge but not too deep and covers 10 x 5 mm. It has a fracture in the surface of it, but having reflected light through it and checked from every angle it seem to be only in the first fraction of a mm of the surface. In fact there is a bubble behind the lower part of it that is totally fine. Probably wants a bit more work on this mark just to improve the look but overall this is a solid example of a rare Northern New South Wales Codd. Grade: 7.1 Estimate: $400 - 600
