Ribbed amber poison bottle with original label and contents: Bickford's Mastola. Medicine Cure Screw top. Amber. 400 ml. 205 mm. 1940s
Excellent. Label mentions capacity as being 400 cc, which to me means 400 ml. Base mark says 1947, which to me means it was made in 1947, which is way before mls were around? Whatever the case, bottle and original contents, neck seal and all with the screw top made of bakelite. This product was an effective treatment for acute and chronic bovine mastitis (mammitis). Bottle could well be mint. Neck seal is torn and tattered. Body label is stained with some tears to the edges, but good overall. An interesting bottle. Grade: 8.9 Estimate: $20 - 25
