Large blue glass chemists jar. Base Mark: Dot. Medicine Chemist Applied top. Cobalt. 1 Gallon. 327 mm. 1880s
Excellent. Etched near shoulder is 2-14. Couple of tiny nicks to upper lip. Inner lip is ground from making for the stopper. Tiny chip to base edge with one or two other little impact marks as well. Some small spots of dirt. Couple of shallow surface bubbles. Scratches scattered around. Some very minor haze in places. A beautiful mid blue, quite an early example and quite big. Grade: 8.1 Estimate: $50 - 75
