Excellent. This glass design (Parcel No.6) was registered on the 10th of May 1847 by: Aire & Calder Bottle Co., London. A fabulous rarity, this is the first time one of these has been offered for sale in recent history! A few fine annealing stress marks to inner lip. This bottle is a little dull throughout internally, some of this is dust and will clean out. Near the N of London is a tiny impact type scratch, only a couple of mm long. Down from this on the next corner edge is a tiny butterfly surface flake, the total dimensions are a mere 2 x 1 mm and just deep enough to be felt. Great ball pontil under the base. One or two scratches to be found. Tiny rough spot to one base corner. Not only is this rare, apart from the inner dullness this is pretty much spotless. Superb item, once in a lifetime opportunity!
