Goldfields Hourglass Salad Oil. Pontil scar to base. Goldfields Salad Oil Fancy pattern around base, pinch waisted to middle, rings around shoulder and neck. Aqua. Applied top. About 4 oz. 149 mm. 1840s-1850s
Very Good. Dull all over and has light opalescent stain. Some annealing marks inside the neck. Only relatively minor scratches and scuffs to the surface. Will clean up well and very nice in this pontil scarred early variety. Grade: 7.2 Estimate: $200 - 250
